You wouldn't look stupid as far as I'm concerned, even though I think the unintended acceleration is probably real.

I mean, think of it this way: At the end of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf," the threat is real, but are the townspeople stupid to think it's yet another joke? The brain donors in the media have been tweaking us with false threats for decades.

Heck, maybe we'll find out that a Dateline NBC producer duct taped rocket motors to the back bumpers of all these cars.

The Prius thing is for real.  I have a friend who has one at it does accelarate on it's own but he tells me when it happens he just drops the car into neutral and that shuts the engine off.  He does tell me it is not the foot feed, it is something in the electronics, this friend is a electronic engineer for Boeing and he knows fly by wire controls.  I can't help but wonder how much this whole issue is driven by the UAW and their pet Senators and Representatives getting back at Toyota because of their non-union shops.

so now we all know, if you see a Prius racing outta control tell the poor driver to hit the ignition button. Anyone remember those comment paddles you could hold up with messages to other drivers?

i think the problem is caused by global warming.

 i cannot debate the issue on it's technical merits. i haven't even driven a car in about three years. but i know that when the media, trail lawyers, and the idiot percentage of citizens join forces something bad is coming.

Boy! I can't wait for a hybrid version of the police cruiser/taxicab to come out. I have to pay for the gas I use out of my own pocket.

It is George Bush the Boob, Dick Cheney The Anti-Christ,  and that, that, oh the horror....The Great Demon Carl Rove who are causing this problem.  Right now at this very second they have their minions forcing aliens from the planet Rastafairia, who are being held prisoner at Area 51.  to fold space brain waves into the Electronic Control Modules on Toyota Hybrids and infect them with Klu-Klux-Klan viruses.   Think about who is it that drives Prius cars, you quessed it Left wing, abort their babies, eco-freak, tree hugging, global warming, Don't kill whales, KFC is mean to Chickens, vegan, nudists who are smarter then you because....well because.   They pontificate to all that Single White male Americans are root of all EVIL  Look at what we do,  drive trucks with big V8 engines, have tail gate parties, watch WWE wrestling, shoot guns, kill bambi,  are members of the National Rifle Association, live in gun culture states like Wyoming , cut down all of the trees, enslaved dogs, eat meat, drink beer, leer at women, wake up with morning wood, and are the cause of global warming because we fart.  That is what is happening.  I know this is true because I was told this when I was channeling Congressman Murtha.
