the president has a children's book out. went through it in the checkout line. besides raising again the questions that bill ayres ghost wrote his other books, i can't see much purpose in reading it. the illustrations are okay in a "don't take any chances" sort of way. but bush's dog barney had a better understanding of plot structure, and a larger vocabulary.

yes, the cartoon is a retread. but it's suddenly relevant.
